Senior Teachers' Team

| The school's Senior Teachers' Team was formed in 2006 . The team started out with three members , Mrs Lim Meng Kwang , Mrs Chye Cheer Lim and Mr Eddy Chua Boon Chiew . Mr Jasnee Samat , Mdm Rohana Hamid, Mrs Lee Siew Fung, Mdm Toh Yim Hong , Mdm Teo Guat Soon and Mdm Cecila Soon Siok Ching have since joined the team , increasing the number to nine . |
| The vision of the team is " Towards Professionalism in Holistic Education with Stakeholders' Involvement." and the mission is " To be the forefront support for all school programmes and initiatives." |
| The Senior Teachers play a vital role in the school , being teachers who have chalked up considerable teaching experience . In line with the vision and mission, they will be actively contributing to school initiatives and programmes to enhance teaching and learning. Sharing experiences with teachers , helping them in their professional development and coaching and mentoring younger teachers are also key areas of contributions. |
| Some of the initiatives that the team is involved in : 1) Structured Mentoring Programme for teachers 2) Action Research on pedagogies to enhance teaching and learning. 3) Partnership with parents : a) The School Family Education Programme b) Interest/ focused groups comprising parents 4) Step -Up Programme This programme helps to enhance pupils' social skills 5) Structured Remedial Programmes 6) Reflective Teaching Using Video Technology |
